23.
Insaanou ki taskari aur ghulaami par paabandi
Prohibition of traffic in human
beings and forced labour
23(1). Insaanou ki taskari aur ghulaami aur in jaesi dighar jabran mulaazimat par paabandi aayed hae aur is mauqif ki khilaaf-warzi qaanunan qaabile saza jurm hoga.
Traffic in human beings and
begar and other similar forms of forced labour are prohibited and any
contravention of this provision shall be an offence punishable in accordance
with law.
23(2). Is mazmoon ka koi bhi pehlu Sarkaar ko kisi awaami maqsad ke tehat laazmi khidmat aayed karne se nahi rokta aur aesi khidmat aayed karne me Sarkaar mehez deen, nasl, zaat ya tabqe ya inme se kisi bina par tafriiq nahi kar sakti.
Nothing in this article shall
prevent the State from imposing compulsory service for public purposes, and in
imposing such service the State shall not make any discrimination on grounds
only of religion, race, caste or class or any of them.
24. Kaar-khaanou waghaera me bachchou ki mulaazimat par paabandi
Prohibition of employment of
children in factories, etc
Chaudaah saal ki umr se kam kisi bhi bachche ko kisi kaar-khaane ya khadaan me mulaazimat par nahi rakha ja sakta ya kisi dighar khatarnaak peshe ki mulaazimat par nahi rakha jaa sakta.
No child below the age of fourteen
years shall be employed to work in any factory or mine or engaged in any other
hazardous employment.
